ABNA24 - About 1,236 extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under police guard during the past week.
According to Jerusalemite sources on Saturday, those settlers performed Talmudic prayers and provocative practices during their tours at the Islamic holy site, amid entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers.
In this context, senior Hamas official Majed Abu Qutaish urged Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and 1948 occupied Palestine to march en masse to the Aqsa Mosque and intensify their presence in its courtyards and buildings.
Abu Qutaish called for necessarily foiling Israeli and settler plans to normalize the performance of Jewish prayers and rituals at the Aqsa Mosque, warning of the dangers of imposing new faits accomplis at the holy site.
